Albania saw record investments in 2018

Albania saw record investments in 2018 with 1 billion euros worth of foreign investments.

This was declared on Friday in a news conference by the Albanian acting minister of Economy and Finance, Arben Ahmetaj, who offered a presentation of last year’s economic results.

Commenting on foreign investments, minister Ahmetaj said that “the opposition is wrong when it declares that foreign investors have left the country".

According to him, from January to September 2018, foreign investments amounted to 757 million euros. /albanian free press/ibna/
