Albania is a source for drug traffic; Greek police publishes its report

According to a report published by the Greek police, in the first half of this year, Greek authorities have seized six tons of cannabis sativa coming from Albania.

The report has been published yesterday and it says that Turkey and European countries are the main destinations of these substances. “Albania is the main country for the production of cannabis and the most important supplier of the European market”, the report says. The amount of cannabis seized last year was 31 tons, while in the first six months of this year, Greek authorities have seized 6 tons of cannabis, 95 kg of heroin, 76 kg of cocaine and destroyed thousands of psychoactive plants.
