Austria and Denmark want to set up refugee camps in Albania or Kosovo

Austria and Denmark are insisting on their plans to set up camps which would accommodate refugees who have been deported from the European Union to other non EU countries, especially in Albania and Kosovo.

According to Italian media, these camps would accommodate asylum seekers who have received a final negative decision on their asylum application, but who cannot be repatriated to their country of origin due to the lack of an agreement between the sides.

Such document, which also explains how these camps would be set up, has been previously presented in front of the European Strategic Committee for Emigration.
