Police takes measures to prevent heavy traffic on the roads

Today marks the start of the new academic year in Albania. However, this day also causes heavy traffic in the roads of the capital. This is the reason why police has launched a public appeal to parents to accompany their children by public transport.

“We call on citizens to avoid the use of cars. We encourage parents to use public transport to take their children to school”, police official Erjon Memheti said. Meanwhile, the new academic year starts on 17^th of September 2018 and ends on 13^th of June 2019. Winter break starts on 22^nd of December and ends on the 6^th of January 2019.
