Flames engulf Thethi Park, efforts to put them off proving to be very hard

A large fire has engulfed Thethi National Park yesterday. The flames have spread quickly, while the difficult landscape is making it very hard for firefighters to intervene. Civil Emergencies reported that the situation is closely being followed and that they’re assessing different options for intervention.

Under these circumstances, authorities were forced to use helicopters. Inspectors from the Protected Areas Agency and police forces have reached the area. It’s being suspected that the fire has been set intentionally.
