Kosovo national found burned; he’s suspected of having intimate relationships in Albania
INVESTIGATION

A serious event has shocked Albanian public opinion when police found the body of a burned man inside a car which was also completely burned. Police suspect that prior to being burned, the victim may have been executed with a fire arm. This gruesome event has taken place in the village of Derven, Fushë-Kruja, while the victim’s name is reported to be Xhafer Osmani, 57 years of age, from Mitrovica, Kosovo. Nevertheless, the DNA tests will reveal the real identity of the body, which was found burned inside the vehicle with Kosovo’s license plates on it.

Meanwhile, investigators say that this person may have arrived in Albania after having started an intimate relationship with a girl from Fushë-Kruja and that this may have also been the cause of the tragedy. Investigators also reveal that the car that was burned has entered Albania a few days ago through the border crossing point of Morina, namely on 29 April 2018. The victim has travelled toward Fushë-Kruja, where he’s suspected to have had the intimate relationship, which is also thought to be the cause of the gruesome murder. In fact, this is only one of the leads that investigators are following so far, while this has been classified as a criminal case. Albanian police are also investigating with Kosovo police to learn more on the 53 year old and discover whether he had any conflicts in Kosovo or Albania.
